Do you like to go out on your own?

Whether I go to the grocery store, or stop at Wal-Mart I am almost always with my husband. Someone asked me the other day if we have to do everything together. The thing is, I like being with him and the kids and would rather be in his company than on my own. We don't live in each other's pockets, but simply enjoy each other's presence whether we talk or not. If I go out by myself I tend to do things quickly and then go home. We've been married for almost five years so I don't see this changing. Are there other people out there who would rather be out and about with their partners then on their own?

yes, i like to enjoy alone. You can't just wait for anybody to come, although we like someone everytime there for outing but its not always possible.... so enjoy alone trips too...

yup. alone trips are nice... no waiting for nobody and i can also slow down without the guilty feeling of making anybody wait for me. i can take my time and just enjoy for myself. but ofcourse, it's different when i am with my boyfriend... i wanna be with him every second of the day.

I couldn't agree with you more, I too like my husband's presence when I go out. We go together almost everywhere since I don't drive here yet(I only have a permit not license), so its again inevitable..lol I like it this way and dread the time when I will take my driver's license, then I'm sure hubby will send me on my own. So I'm enjoying it while it lasts:)

I would much rather be out doing things with my husband than going places by myself, but I stay home all day and he works. It just doesn't work out for us to go everywhere together. We get more things done when I go by myself, since he works all day. During weekends, we do spend most of our time together, though. I really enjoy his company, and if I had the choice I would much rather spend my time with him than alone!

Since I was a little girl, I always do things on my own. I never ask any favor from family members and friends not unless, I really needed help. Even with my husband around, I never rely all my needs to him. I can go out anytime I want. Do my own grocery, going somewhere and even when when I need to fix a light bulb, I still do it on my own. I do know of a friend, who can't do things by herself without her husband. She said she felt like half of her body was cut off if she is not with her husband. :)

I always go out with my husband. It is pretty much the only time we spend together, since at home I am working and he is off looking after our son. When we go out, he helps me by carrying the groceries and people treat me better when they see that I am married to a Guatemalan, otherwise I tend to get racist treatment and also people think that I stole my son! (although right now not so much because I am 8 months pregnant). Still they ask sometimes if my son is ours or if we adopted him! This even though he is very white.

I don't really have a preference. I can either go alone or with somebody else. Anything goes for me. ;-)

i'm perfectly comfortable with going out on my own, eating out alone or just being alone. I like my company but I enjoy the time I spend better if my boyfriend is with me. We get to discuss the things around us and just be together =) its always a matter of choice.

The only time I go out on my own is either I go to the 7-11 to buy a slurpee, a prepaid card for my cell phone. Or I go to buy some filipino phone cards to call my girlfriend in the Philippines. But I do miss the times going together with her. Thank God I'm going back this year.

There are times where I just want to be alone and not be with anyone. It's my way of thinking and just relaxing on my own. I don't see anything wrong about it, but if we're talking about doing stuff together with our partners, why would I not be with him? =) I would love to do stuff with him, may it be a girl thing or not ;)

I'm not married, but my parents are and they do EVERYTHING together. They go out on the weekends and they always go together. If one of them has something to do without the other it is a very rare occasion. I don't think there is anything wrong with that. I think it makes their relationship ten times stronger being able to be around each other so much and hardly fight. Do what makes you happy, don't worry what other people think!

I am so bored when i go out alone. Like if i have to buy something, i tend to rush everything - walk, eat, shop. So if i want to enjoy shopping, i drag someone along. I don't have a boyfriend, so i go out with my best buddy. Plus, if it's shopping day, i don't want to be with a guy. I know how short tempered they are in stopping stall by stall. I mean, they aren't as patient as girls who would walk their feet for miles of shopping garage. But if it's just for a street walk or an informal date (park, resto, bar hop), then i'd go with a date or if i have one, a boyfriend. =)

For me, id rather be out and about with my partner than be alone. I would like to enjoy his company while doing things that we both enjoy. But of course, there are times when you sometimes can not do things together because of work or other activities but it is better for me to spend our spare time together than to be out alone or with others.
