Is it wrong to mess someone who is a neat freek? I have a friend who has to have everything in order. When I go to his house, I deliberately move things around an inch or so and wait to see if he notices.

LOL. My wife is also a neat freak and I mess with her all the time. She alphabetizes the DVDs and I like to move them around. OMG! She notices right away! She freaks out all the time whenever she sees a wrinkle on my pants or a spec of dirt. Although, when I mess with her I don't do it because I'm being mean, I do it because I just get so annoyed by all her cleaning and neatness. :P

What a good topic. My sister is a neat freak. When we were teenagers and shared a room, I used to really agravate her by having clutter. Now when I go to her house I make fun of the towels in the linen closet that are organized by color. It is in all fun and humor. I am not mean to her for real. I call her Monica from the t.v. show friends. I think that is so funny.

I don't know if that's wrong, but it certainly would be fun. My husband is a neat freak (well at least in my opinion) and I'll have to try that on him. As it is, all I do now is get a bit of pleasure when he's moved something to a different area of the house and then walks around looking for it and tearing the place apart.

I may not welcome you warmly next time you step in my room with sand stucked on your soles. I can't help,i am such a freak. But during the weekend party at my place i burn out myself, cleaning the mess.I like the company who appreciates my ethic but are themselves not good at it rather than having another neat freak.

Not necessarily wrong unless you do it to deliberately make fun of him. Most people feel the need to test a situation like that and I think that is a normal reaction, but it should not take any steps towards cruelty.
