Don't you just hate it...

My husband doesnt play video games but he is on the computer an inordinate amount of time...he does research for work and surf's the internet in forums that he is interested in...and yes..I know that absent look ..at the end of a question...that " UH-OH...I think she was talking to me!!!" LOL...We laugh about it...I'm glad he's not totally hooked on the gaming thing because that is more time sensitive and can't be as easily interupted!!!LOL...It used to drive me crazy when he'd try to act interested but his eyes were glued to the computer...Now we sort of adhere to a rule...if either of us is on the computer and the other one needs our attention...we turn away from the screen and have eye to eye contact during our conversation...it has worked well...now neither of us feels ignored..and we have no excuse as to why we don't remember the conversation!!!!!! LOL

I am glad that I dont have that problem. mine desk is on one side of the frountroom and my boyfriends desk is on the other side and the only game site that we play on is POKER.COM and there is times that we end up on the same table together and we would be like what cards do you have. I wish you luck on talking maybe you can go up behind him and tap him in the back of the head, I bet he hears you then.
