Some artificial sweetners are nothing but a bunch of chemicals without any calories your body can absorb and use. If your body can't use it for energy, it is said to have no calories.
Others have "no" calories because they are SOOOOOO sweet (some of them are 200 - 600 times sweeter than sugar) that by the time you used enough to make up 1 calorie you could sweeten a swimming pool. So in a single serving they have "no" calories.
