Suggestions, please....

I just received a new ipod (I actually won it...yeah!). I need some music suggestions. I have very eclectic taste in music....I like almost anything, except heavy rap...but my favorites are folk, Celtic and alternative.
What, in your opinion, are the best songs ever recorded? What would you suggest?

Hmm, with that mix of tastes, I'm going to reccommend Van Morrison, Steve Goodman, and Jackson Browne as artists to look into. You might like Elliot Smith though I'm not terribly fond of him. Have fun!
