Phobias and Anxieties

What are you most scared of? I have had a few phobias like the fear of flying, leather, swimming pools, elevators etc. Thank God I have managed to deal with some of my phobias but snakes ...Urgh! I can't even look at a picture or tv showing a snake without breaking out in sweat and hyperventilating but I am working on it. I have promised myself to conquer this fear. And you? do you have any phobias?

I hate the Devil, stuff about black magic, paganism, witchcraft etc, really terrify me.

It's a shame that you lump the religion of paganism (wicca, etc) among the Devil, black magic, etc which has nothing to do with it---Paganism is an ancient form of religion which honors the earth and all living creatures....Satanism, the devil, etc. are corruptions of the Christian religion and have nothing to do with wicca/paganism....Maybe you should do some research reading on the matter so you can see the difference yourself...and as a btw...you would probably fear me then since I am a follower of the wicca path..

Like you, I too have a fear of snakes, I believe it's called Ophidiophobia. My reason for it is that they kinda creep me out a lot and as we know some snakes are so poisonous they can kill a human in less than a couple of minutes, so the mental image of some snake sneaking onto us while we're using the toilet or in some other inconvenient place to get surprised and bitten is rather unsettling.
I've seen news where rattlesnakes, pythons and/or other snakes just appear from under people's beds, attics, basements, backyard, under sinks, etc. and that just convinced me that these snakes are capable of living in spaces possibly inside our homes which we mostly take for granted.
But all is not bad since I really think snakes can be wonderful creatures too as they can really be interesting to watch on TV and can also help deal with rodent infestations; Just look after your pets or they could go missing anytime.

My biggest phobia is mice.. I cannot even look at them at pet stores

Since I was a kid I am afraid of the beach. I can't manage to go alone the beach because I had so many nightmares about it. However, the weird thing is that when I'm with my friends and family I enjoy the beach a lot. I know how to swim. Maybe it's the nightmares that keeping me away from the beach.
