Hey Grandpa Bob! Your Buddy is adorable! We are enjoying the same temps here in the U.P. too. I've been busy spring cleaning the inside and am not able to get to the yard work yet as there is still snow and ice in the yard. Hopefully, I too will be able to get my garden ready for spring. :) Glad you are having a great day. Give buddy a scratch behing the ear for me!

The ground sure aint frozzen here in Kentucky! It has been in the 70s for about 2 weeks now. This weekend I had to turn my AC on because it was 91! I cant believe it is this hot in March. I dread this summer, its goin to be a scorcher. The lows have been in the 50s at night. But its warm enough that the fish are biting. I caught several this weekend. I also got out to enjoy this great weather. We went walkin in the woods. I know, it sounds dumb but my 2 year old niece just loves doing that. Then we went fishing. It was so hot though, I was wearing a tank top & shorts & still burning up. Today it's 80, thats still pretty warm but not as bad as yesterdays 90 degrees. I am working on cleaning my yard up. There is so much junk in it. I have never planted flowers or anything like that but my mom gave me a rose & I bought some other flowers to plant. I just noticed the other day that my house looks so empty. We have no plants at all in our yard, other then the grass. So I am going to try to plant them soon but have no idea what Im doing. Im still trying to figure out were to plant them, how deep & all that stuff. So wish me luck!!! Lord knows I'll need it to get any thing to live.

hey there grandpa bob, glad to see that you are having such great weather. it is in the 60-70 here in Indiana but we have had rain for the last 5 days it is going to be in the low 70 this weekend but we are still getting rain then. I would love to get outside to do some yard work but the rain wont go away. trying to make a flower bed around my birdfeeders this summer so that I can get some humming birds to come around. maybe will be able to get out this next week when the rain is gone. enjoy your weekend and happy gardening.

what a cute doggie! it was warm here for the first time in a long time today not warm enough to plant yet though. i'm thinking of getting some railroad ties this year and making raised planters.

I am happy for you. It seems that we use different temperature systems. I know 60 must be a tempetature degree. But I don't know how much it is in Celsius system. I don't find the convertion formula yet. Anyway, it is not important. What is important is that you are having fun. Enjoy it and wish you good luck. Looking forward to your first plant.

It just stared to get nice out here, we still have snow on the ground as we had a blizzard about a week and a half ago. I live in Sask in Canada. The weather is very unpredictable here. First day of spring a few days ago was nice and it is getting nicer. But I have seen it snow here in April before.

Hi Grandpa Bob, i have to say you were pretty good looking for a hippy looking dude in 1975. Buster looks pretty cute too what kind of dog is he . When you say it was 60 today that must be around 15c in australia, brrrrrrrrr thats cold here. Today here in Perth it was 31c about 83-84 for you. We had a absolute awesome day here with heaps of sun.

Oh how lucky you are. We're still living under a snow bank. The snow is starting to melt mind you but we can't see the front lawn yet. Good luck wth your gardening I hope summer hits here soon. Take Care

Gotta just love it when the warm days start coming after a long cold winter. We had several like that as well, Grandpa Bob, and I lost myself in yardwork. I LOVE being out in my yard working bout this time of year. I'm moving my garden up by the shed but it's wayyyyyy uneven so going to build a raised bed, hopefully, this weekend so I can level out the soil left over from when they installed our pool last summer and start working last years compost pile into it along with cow manure. Where the garden used to be is now saturated to the point of standing water. That's why I decided to move it to higher ground. Here I go a ramblin' again. lol

Your kidding me right? How can all your snow be gone? We still have a good 23 inches or more on the ground arrrrrghhhh. I can't believe your are outside raking already! That's great enjoy the weather! I can't wait for our snow to be gone and I can do the same. I'll be going to Connecticut next weekend for a 5 day visit and I am hoping to get a litlle tanning done while there LOL!

Sounds like great weather your having. Really cute dog bet he's also loving the nice weather getting out and running around without freezing. Our weather has actually been nice now for several weeks, 1 day of rain this week and calling for rain on Monday. Today was 77 degrees so very nice. The little one and I were able to get out and enjoy a little.:) I love Spring. Here's a picture from earlier this month at the park.:)
