i remember days ago when i told my boyfriend that my friends and i cancelled a dinner get together that night since it was raining. he asked me, "does rain keep you indoors?" well, yep. most of the time here in the philippines, when it's raining, most people are indoors. and as per experience, when it's raining, my friends and i usually set our schedule to another day if the fixed date we first had turned out to be a rainy day for us. so, how about your in your case? does rain keep you indoors, too?

Yes you're right that when it rains everyone are keep inside their house unless you go out and be wet.I always experience this in my life.I have a lot of canceled tour and outings because of continuous downpour.

yep. isn't it so annoying to cancell something because of the rain? especially when you are looking forward to it for days?

It depends on how I feel. Today I'm still getting over a bad cold I've had for over a week. I wanted to go out, but when I heard thunder and saw the grey sky I decided to skip it. I went out later in the evening (all I wanted was some coffee), when it was still damp, but not raining. If I wasn't slightly sick, I wouldn't have minded. I would have taken my umbrella (I have one with a Canadian flag printed on it) and gone out, and waited for the bus like I normally do. When I'm feeling good I'll go out no matter what the weather is like, when I'm sick, I won't.

yep. health also is important. depends on how we feel that day. there are times when we feel like we can do everything we wanna do. there are days when we just don't feel like it.

I hate the rain... usually. I love "playing" in the rain, but when I have things to get done I hate it. I find it very hard to take my three kids out in the rain, besides the obvious of them getting all wet; I also hate the mud. If there's a puddle my kids will FALL in it and then we have to go back inside and change clothes and now we're late! Or if we're out and about then I have to buy them new clothes (good thing they're too young to figure this out!). I find it hard to operate in rainy weather!

yep. there are things we can't do when raining. i, too enjoy the rain. just that there are certain things we can't do when it's raining. so, sometimes, most are rescheduled.

No, It doesn't keep me indoor. But usually I do not go to wander in the rain :) I love the rain very much. I have a discussion about it, anyway :) But to spend a dinner in a restaurant is not an event I would postpone, because of raining. But I would postpone a picnic in the park :)

Unless it is an important thing that I must pursue, I stay at home when it rains. The idea alone of getting wet and cold outside is repulsive. No matter how much one tries to protect himself from the rain, the footwear gets wet and it feels cold. I definitely do not like the feeling.

If I can put off my trip out, then yes, rain keeps me indoor. But if I need to run an errand urgently or when I already have an appointment outside, I have no choice but to brave the rain. It makes things inconvenience yes, but I don't have a choice there. :P

Sometimes a huge storm type of rain does but when it's a calm rain or a soft patter I love to be out in it. One of the things I loved most about being in Seattle was when it rained people just ignored it! LOL That was awesome to see people walking around, doing their thing like it wasn't even raining out simply because it rained so often it was no big deal. The best part was it always stopped for the better part of the day and you could reap the benefits of a calming rain nearly every day.

There was a time where I have experiences with rains, and when a strong one comes, it automatically creates flood. Me and my friends do hang-out outside the street and help those motorists who gets their vehicles stranded because of flood, and we sometimes get payed in doing it so. I don't know, but I missed those days.. As we have moved and resided on a place far from where we usually lived because of the flood, and I am now stay indoors when rain it's raining outside..

Where I stay in the state of USA, we don't get that much rain. Winter is little long here and we get lots of snow but less rain. I like rain but don't like to go out when it is raining. But only because of rain we don't cancel a programe if we decided it before. In general case personally I try to avoid to go outside if it is not that important.

if the car is not color coded, yes we still would go out, no problem there. There are places where there's covered-parking so it's alright

yep. there are such places, too. covered... however since most of us don't have cars, we use the public utility vehicles around.. usually, a jeepney and it's not easy to ride in one when it's raining.
