I am not a big fan of talk shows but I am aware of Oprah and her show, I have seen it a few times. My main dislike of the show and the reason I never really liked watching it was, the amount of celebrities she had on her show. I felt then and now, she should have more real everyday people, events, causes or concerns. But, it is her show and she can do what she likes with it. It is my choice not to watch it and I don't because I could give two cents about some celeberities life, unless it is: Gates, Buffet, Jovi, or someone else on there talking about their work outside of some fairy tale world. If she puts someone on there discussing a topic I care about I will Tivo it, if not I could careless regardless of color. So, my questions to you are: are you offended by the number of whites she has on her show overall? What about the number she had in the beginning? Were you offended by that? Is that fair to other races? Proper analysis requires examining an issue from all sides, not just one. Thanks in advance.

I don't races matter. Though each race might have some specific characteristic, we are basically the same. We are just human who were born in different skin and different culture. I like Oprah. She's so inspiring.

I have noticed this too. Also, much of her charity work is for blacks, even though there are poverized whites. It was ironic when she also threw a party to celebrate 'great black women'. As if there are no great white women, or are they just not worthy? If I white talk show host were to do the same things, they would be called prejudice in a heartbeat......I now watch the Ellen show more.
