I want to scream, I want to cry, I am so tired from all our problems. Yes, I am thankful for what we do have, but, I am tird of one thing after another. My husband is so tired, and working way to hard and too long of hours for a man his age. After no work, we got so far behind. Now he has the job, but the salary is not enough for us. I am fustrated as I cannot work outside the house, and I am trying everything I know at home, but it isn't enough. My husband had his kidney removed and now the good one is being effected by meds he needs. I am so tired from all this. I am not afraid to die, I am afraid to live. Do you understand what I am saying? We must cut out food, and that doesn't even help. There is no help available for us, as we are Hahahah, over qualified. Thanks for letting me vent, I'm sorry. I am just depressed today. I hurt so much, and that is not helping my mood. Hugs, M&M

I have already sent a short prayer up for you. I think we all come to these places in our lives where it just seems that we cannot go forward and we cannot go back. I know that I don't have the answers to your problems, but God does. Please talk to the minister of your church or if you don't have one, pick one nearby. A lot of churches have food on hand to help people who need a helping hand to tide them over a rough time. They can also help lift your spirits by praying for the health of you and your husband. Things never seem quite so hopeless if others around us care enough to pray. Don't give up on looking for help from other groupos. Check with your local Salvation Army Church to see what they might offer. Ask your local Chamber of Commerce if they have a list of people who might help in your situation. Talk to the human resources office in your town. Either you or your husband might qualify for disability payments from social security. Call them and find out. I know this sound overwhelming, but you can do it. Make a list of everything you need to check out and do a little each day. Then see if you can just plan a day for you and your husband to do nothing at all. Well, not completely nothing, but nothing pressing. You could take a walk in the park, or maybe even go fishing. See a cheap movie. Bake cookies together. Take a free tour of something in your town. I will continue to remember you in prayer, and please keep us posted as to how things are going. God bless.

You are very sweet, and thank you for the prayers. We have already been though all those things. If you read some of the older posts, you will see what was happening when he lost his job. I got a lot of support from my wonderful friends here. I love God, and I know He has a plan. I have things to be happy about, but these financial burdens at our age in this country are really bad. Hugs, dear, thank you.

I was so sad to read your post and as you know you and your husband are always in my thoughts and prayers and hope somehow things will get better for the both of you so you do not have to live in worry or fear anymore. Life is very unfair at times and it stinks but we have to keep on going and not give up and try and make things work. I think it is terrible that people tell other people that they are overqualified. I would rather have an overqualified person than a underqualified person. Big hugs from Ken.

http://www.secondharvestfoodbank.org/ Check this out, it may be of help that you need. I have a church here that gives out free food and it helps us. They do go on income however they seem good with the levels. We have been kind of in your shoes and since our housefire we have struggled daily. I do work part time outside the home and thankfully since it helped us to make it a bit further each month. I hear your frustration and hope that you are carried through on your faith. Take care my friend and as always email me anytime.

I just prayed for you dear sister. God will provide your needs. I know that you know that, but sometimes we just need the reassurance that we are not alone in this. Have you tried contacting perhaps some Christian organizations and asking if they have any programs to assist you and your husband. Some people have no problem getting govt't assistance when they are perfectly able to work and don't want to, but when decent hard working tax paying citizens like yourself and your husband need something, you are over qualified, it gets my goat. Please smile regardless of what is going on and let God bless you. I wish I could do something to help :)

Oh, this is horrible. Just when we thought all your worries where over. I wish there was something I could do. I wish I lived near you and I would bring you food. There has to be a church that will help you. If not your own, try another. I will pray for you and I think about you often. Hugs Linda

It would seem that you do have lots of troubles. Not knowing you that well, it is easy to overlook what you might be going through. There are answers for you. You make a profound statement when you say you are afraid to live. Is it because you fear more hard times and problems? I am praying for you to overcome these ills. I definitely think you can.

It is hard to live with so much pain, no money to see a doctor or get meds. We don't have free clinics, and we qualify for nothing as long as he works. Well, he has too work. It's a circle. I am afraid to ever have to be dependent on anyone to take care of myself. I'm sorry, I am very down today. Thak you for your prayers. God is the only way.

I understand when you say you are not afraid to die, you are afraid to live. I feel like this every day. I will be praying for you. Have you checked the food bank? The food bank where I live doesn't check how much you make, they just give you food if you need it. I'm sorry that you are feeling so bad. Hugs from, Carol

Our food bank is the biggest joke in the world. I have been there 3 times. I won't go back. They charge you for food. Only 10% is usable. All of it is stale, moldy, and old. My cats share with me now. Their food is better. We don't even have a free clinic. I hurt my foot over a year ago. The pain, with the athritus, is so much to deal without meds. Thanks for your hug and help. Hugs, M&M

I"m adding my prayers too. Please feel free to vent all you need, I understand very well what you're feeling and I've been that depressed sometimes. I"m sure that something positive will come out soon. I find that when things don't seem to have room to go any worse, usually something good happens. I'll be thinking of you Hugs

Father God in Jesus name I thank You for manisfesting yourself in Margieannert's life and showing her and her family that You love them. I speak healing, health, and peace and prosperity and life over them, in Jesus name. You sent Your word Lord and delivered them from their destruction. I thank You Lord for giving them the strength to go through what they're going through. And Father God I thank You for preparing a place for them in the presence of their enemies and that surely goodness and mercy shall follow them all the days of their lives. And also Lord I thank You that the right persons will minister to them to bring glory, honor and praise to Your name. AMen.

Believe me, I can imagine how you feel. My husband and I are also considered over qualified and therefore not entitled to any help from the state. We can´t make ends meet either. I´m telling you this to let you know that you´re not alone, Margie. Sometimes this helps. I understand when you say that you´re not afraid to die, you´re afraid to live. The feeling is very familiar to me. I´m so sorry that you´ve got so many problems. I know it´s easier said than done, but please be strong. You will see, you´ve got the inner strength to overcome the distress. All my prayers and good vibrations are sent your way. You´re in my mind. (((hugs))) and lot of love... Dana

When I am so tired that I think I cannot go on, that is when things will pick up, or maybe I just get even too tired to care. I am hoping that some of the "pick up" for you will be in response to your creative ability, as that will satisfy your spirit as well. Have you applied for disability? It takes awhile, but it may be something that would carry you over the rough spots. I am afraid that I do not have much else to offer. We are just waiting to be able to draw early social security for my hubby, so that whatever he does as a job will have a cushion. He is so stressed he has been sick all week.

It's always good to vent, margieanneart. Breathe in, breathe out. I'll include you in our prayers. Problems are part of life. Just think this way: "problems won't be given your way if God knows that you can't handle them well". Take care!
