DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø Responsible for the correct data capturing on the container control system record in respect of the export loading of containers
Ø Responsible for clearing all container terminal queries relating to export containers and bookings.
Ø Responsible for the preparation of statistics on the quantities of container ex Southern African region per every port of destination.
POSITION : CONTAINER HUNTING & TRACKING ASSISTANT

OBJECTIVES :
Ø To ensure timeously return of all import containers at the time of vessel’s discharge to their respective allocated depots.
Ø To ensure that container Demurrage – Late Turn – in Warning advice is issued to all clients with import containers that have not been turned in to the allocated depots.
Ø To ensure that container Demurrage late – Turn – in warning with containers that overstay 30 days after the discharge date are handed over to the claims department.
DUTIE/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø Responsible for monitoring turn – in of import containers from the time vessel’s discharge
Ø Responsible for ensuring that the container control system is updated with all import moves for discharged containers.
Ø Responsible for tracking all import containers per every client till they are returned to the respective depots.

CONTAINER DEPOT ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT
DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø Responsible for receiving all depot invoice reports from the depots and to reconcile with data on the container control system.
Ø Responsible for ensuring that all information on the invoices conforms with the container control system – The container size and type, turn – in dates, number of container lift in/out, amount on each lift and the total final figure on the invoice.
Ø Responsible for authorizing cleared invoices for payment to the accounts department
Ø Responsible for submitting detailed credit request forms to the depots/clients for overcharged invoices.
IMPORT AND OVER BOARDER ASSISTANT.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø To update and data capture all import containers on to the container control system.
Ø Prepare statistics per vessel for all import containers discharged in South Africa.
Ø Handling all terminal queries relating to import containers.
Ø Monitor all import containers that are for over the boarder destinations.
Ø Update the arrival and dispatch of all over boarder containers.
Ø Prepare statistics for all import container and at over boarder.
