How many of you like John Grisham's novels. I think he had two good ones in The Firm and The Time to a kill, but the rest of the work is pretty ordinary. The latest one "The Broker" was a pretty lame effort. Do you think his writing is too predictable or do you think he can still come up with something interesting.
Cheers!

Most of his books recently have become very predictable and common. There was something special about his initial books but now you can not distinghuish his books from so many such kind books published everyday.

I have not read his books in years, I'm sorry to say. I much prefer the movie adaptations myself. There are just too many legal terms and technical stuff in the books for me to comprehend.
However in answer to your question, I do like his work. I did like The Client both book and movie. I also liked his newer book, Runaway Jury or something like that. I do in fact find that most of his books do have a common thread. And there are a lot of people that like that fact. Obviously, because he is so well known and has been a bestseller many times.
