No I never. Because one moth before her birthday, she would have put a plan to purchase dress/jewellery or silk saree and it would cost not less than Rs.2000 ($40 approx.). So there is no question of foregeting the date of birth.

I was just rummaging your discussion topics and I found that you had given me BR for this response which probably was not notified to me through email. Thank you very much for the same, though belated.

Its all right. I never get emails other than a few when one or two of my friends start discussions. So all the time i have to come to myLot to see what's happening. That's why i dont reply to most answers or discussions. This i have been talking on myLot sometime back but still the problem is there. So i learned not to talk about shortcomings but to enjoy the site as it is. That's what oldbuddy told me.

i always forget my boyfriends birthday because when i first met him, he told me lies about the dates, so now i don't even know the date but it doesn't really matter because 1- he doesn't celebrate his birthdays and 2 he doesn't like me to treat him etc. i ask him his birthday still now and he just says forget about it so when he offers to buy me something on my birthday, i say the exact same thing, lol!

This is a very strange situation that I have never heard of. Anyway, celebrating birthdays has a sentimental value, i think.

I have never forgotten my husband's birthday and would definately be in very big trouble if I did. LOL Actually it would be impossible to forget his birthday, because it is also Christmas Day, so I would not have an excuse. :)

No I have never forgotten my husbands birthday, that would be a terrible thing to do! I have more respect for him than that.

i have never forgotten my husbands birthday but if you are the type that forgets things easily you can buy gift in advance and hide it where he can not see it or when its approaching you can jot down the date where you can see it everyday.

I have never forgotten my hubby's birthday. That would be hard to do as his birthday is 3 days before mine. We always have a joint celebration. Well, except for this year but that was due to my broken foot. We'll just have to party harder on our anniversary!
