Should $$$ be the motivating factor?

It is better to have a successful life than just success in your life. Do you agree with this comment? Salary which you earn should not be the motivating factor, personal interests, aptitude and dreams should also be considered. A profession that is interesting, having good co-workers and an engaging corporate culture as other motivating factors could just be as important.

I think money is always at least a bit of motivating, I wouldn't do the work I love, if they would pay me pennies for it. And on the other hand, if I would hate my work , I sure would need more money than with what I would normally be satisfied. But as long as you are making enough money, I think it's the other things that matter more. Well, at least for me.
