In a community like this, there is what you call reputation. It is your rate as a blogger. Try to point in the star beside your name, a number will appear like mine is 88/100 it means I have an 88% reputation. It is based from the quality of your posts. Did I made it clear? I hope so....

Even I haven't understood meaning of star yet on mylot. First I was on 7 when I had my first 100 posts then gradually I went on to get 9 star ranking but now as I have started posting long responses I'm 7 star ranking and yes my earnings have declined from 2 dollar to 1.5$ a day with my star ranking going down . This guys on mylot should provide a guideline for this star ranking business.

myLot's explanation of the star is that it is the way you are perceived by other members of the myLot community. I guess if it goes down, someone had put a -ve on one or more of your responses. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. I think all this star business is a bit of a silly idea myself. lol

You get stars when people rate your discussions..This is the way I understand it....The stars are earned...

Congratulations, your rating is so high, and it is only the start. The star rating is very important because it suggest to mylot users your reputation, you can consider it as an indicator of your reliability. If you have an high star rating, people believe in you with high probability, if you have a low rating people don't even read what you write. So keep on posting good responses and discussion.

It's your reputation. The higher it is, the better. 10 is the best, 1 is the worst. If you post more quality discussions, your star number will be higher.
