will you give your credit card number to your friend if heor she needs it

No I wouldnt and I dont really see why anyone would need it. If I had a friend in need I would not lend them my credit card I would buy whatever it was for them. It is all too easy for friends to become ex-friends especially when money is involved. What would you do if you gave your credit card number to your friend and a few months later someone empties your account? Best keep your credit card number to yourself.

i do not usually give my credit card number to people, and usually my friends do not ask me to. they have their own credit card and they do think like me. that everyone is handeling their own money business. so i never had a friend come to me and ask me to do that. but if it happens i will give my credit card to anyone of my family and to my best friend which is much as a sister to me. cause i do now that they are rialable people and would not ask for anything just if it was their last resort.

Never! I know it sounds cold and harsh to say this but, there would always be a niggling worry, I do trust my friends implicidly but when it comes to lending money or giving out credit card details I find it best to draw a line, then no good friendships can be spoilt. Money does cause a lot of upset and problems even between friends, so I never take the gamble.

I would probably suggest that if they needed something that I would get it for them rather then giving out my number . I have given out my debit number before but that is because you can change your password on that anytime you want to so you don't have the same fears . There are so many different ways to give money that I would probably suggest another way if they didn't want me to purchace them something for some reason but still needed the money . But in a serious situation , I would probably trust family enough to give it to them .

i would never give this out,i would buy it for her/him and they can give me the money but never give out your number,as you can fall out with them its not worth it

The only people I could trust in giving out my credit card number is my family. But even if it's my bestfriend or partner, I don't know if I'm that a hundred percent ready to give it out for security purposes. If it's only a friend, it's really hard to do so. WHo knows he or she can break that trust! I don't even give out my credit card info over the internet. :)

It really depends on the friend. I have a couple of friends that I could trust with it. They wouldn't go crazy with it. They'd only get what they really needed. They are the kind of people that will pay us back.

They would have to be an EXTREMELY good friend for me to do this but I would if I flet they really were in dire straits. I would probably prefer to either buy the item for them or give them cash if that was an option, because I would at least not be charged interest if they didn't pay me back, nor could they let my info fall into the wrong hands by mistake.

there is no way I would give my credit card number!!! It is way too dangerous. If they really need money and I would be willing to help them then I would use paypal or e-gold, it is safer to my opinion In those times and days you can do so much with a credit card number, I would not want to take the chance. I don't think it is a good idea to give anyone your credit card number even your partner. What I will do for people is buy the item for them and then let them pay me back another time when they have the money. That way you can still help them out without giving out your card details. I know you think you might trust the person, but believe me sometimes the people closest to you surprise you and catch you out. It isn't worth the risk.

I will not give out my creditcard number to anyone, unless I am using it to pay for something

I wouldnt give my credit card details to any one i do not know. If it was a real close friend, i probably would. But if i wasnt 100% sure they'd be safe,then i would tell my friend I would order what she wanted online for her with my credit card.
