Ones and twos is ALL I get for my discussions!!! grr HELP ME PLEASE!

It is basically a crap shoot. I have posted soem post that I thought were very thought provoking and received no response and other times, I get a bunch. Sometimes it takes a few days then I get hit with responses. There are so many areas in MYLot that sometimes they are just missed. Keep plugging away and you will be fine. Check around and see what people are responding to and try that interest group. Good Luck

i'M in the same situation. no one responds to my posts. I feel I have some good posts but no one is interested. Ohwell I will just have to reply to other peoples posts.

i honestly do not know how i get so many responses. because i am still geting responses on some of my discussions i started back in November. I want to say it is because i have so many great friends that always try to respond to my discussions.

To get on the top discussions table you need to start a discussion many people will want to reply to. Then you also need to have a good friend base. People who will actually answer your discussions. If you have even 20 people on your friends list who reply to your discussions you will be good to get going. People tend to respond to either brand new discussions so they are the first to say something. Or they reply to one's that a lot of people replied to already. Take a look at your interest tags and see which one's pop up the most. For me relationship's and mylot.com and television pop up the most. Therefore I figure people want to talk about them the most. So I start discussions in those tags. I tend to get 10-20 responses on average. I have a few with only 1 or 2 and a couple with nearly 100! It all depends on: who is online, what they are interested in, where you stick your discussion, most importantly though... make sure it is one people haven't seen before or in a long time so they have something new and exciting to reply to!

I took a look at the discussions you have started. And although most have hit 6 or 7, you do have ones that have gone as high as 30 and 54 responses. So I don't understand the problem. 6 or 7, I think is average. However kudos for going high on the others. But if you really want an answer to your question, be sure to start discussions that a lot of people have interest in. Friends are good to have as they will answer your discussions as well. And tags really help as well.

Hey, saw that you had just two reposes on this and i thought i would make it three. A littel tip for you: if you respond to many of the same person chances are they will really notice you and do the same.
