I want to send a friend of mine in India, some regular coffee. Is there a problem to do this? Will he receive it through customes?

I think it will get through the customs if you declare what's in the package but the problem is the Indian mail system, sometimes it won't reach the person. Many a time when I mail greeting cards to my parents or other family it doesn't reach and that is frustrating. By the way why do want to send coffee from here, you get very good coffee there in India. In fact I bring coffee powder from India when I go ;o)

Really? My friend said he only gets instant. Unless he did not understand me. I wanted him to have regular coffee, like Millstone.

Oh no you get excellent filter coffee in India, like Millstone but of course another brand name. Where does your friend live in India? I am going next month and plan to bring coffee powder back here..hubby loves the filter coffee better than the instant one.
