When do you say a song is boring? Is it with the melody? the lyrics? Is it the way the artist sings the song? Any reply is highly appreciated, thanks...

I love music and I have an ear for it. Something in the song has to catch my attention. Whether it's the lyrics or the melody. When I was younger, I hated listening to the radio and for the most part, still do. Either I did not like the song and it would get on my nerves, I would love it and try to find a tape fast enough to record it, or I would obsess with it, until I could go out and buy it. Now as an added bonus, I try to find the song on the internet. It makes me crazy when a song pops into my head and I can not listen to it. I am so glad that there is Youtube now.

the music is boring if the lyrics does not go with the melody or the beat, or sometimes when the artist sings the song, the words are not understandable because of the melody..

I feel it is boring if it is musically and/or lyrically simplistic. I like a song with complex melodies and harmonies, and intersting lyrical patterns.
