Well, I used to like maths because it has a perfect results and not every subject can boast of that. Moreover, it helps our analysis and logic , something that I can't do without. The only lessons I never quite got to finishing while in school was the eclipse and parabola integration as I never really focussed on the formula for their area calculations.Other than that I would perhaps need to revise my calculus ,lol ,but the rest is still okay.

I love math. I use it every day. Those people who say they will never use it are confused. When we make a decision to buy apples or oranges it is mathematics.
We calculate how much pressure to apply to a gas pedal to go faster or slower. That is Math. We use math every day regardless if we know it or not.

Oh my, you hit a nerve. I can not stand math. I am not good at it and I hate it. When I was in college I tried to take basic math. But I picked the wrong teacher, boy, did I pick the wrong teacher.
He figured that since we had not gotten it right by college, we were never going to get it right. So he was trying to teach us "new math." That was not the worse part of it either. The math book we were using was his. I mean that literally, he had made his own math textbook.
I tried to hang in there, I gave it my all, but the cards were stacked against me from the start. I ended up dropping that class. I will eventually go back. More than likely, when I am certain that this teacher as retired or at least gone back to his people on his own planet.
I am an English major. I excel in this because I am creative and in English you can be that way. In math, there is one right answer and finding it is not my strong point.

Well I really do love Math - Math is no wonder my favorite subject. I think Mathematics is a fantastic subject because it can be related to a lot of other fields, in fact Math is said to be the Language of all Sciences because almost all things in this world can be represented Mathematically.
There are many experiences in my life that are related to Math and those are primarily scholastic - you know, when you get happy because of high Math grades, when you're happy because you won a Math competition and all that...

I am not good at math, I just don't understand it. I tried hard in school to learn but it did not come easy to me and I never finished high school math.
