Gifts In A Jar - No Bake Peanut Butter/Chocolate Cookie Mix

Well, Spring has arrived and romance is in the air. This time of year brings on the beginning of wedding season. With weddings come gift giving and what better gift to give than a few gifts in a jar for cookies and a cookie sheet with some cookie cutters. They will appreciate this gift very much and dont forget to make a few extra for your own pantry. Then when you need a quick cookie, You will be good to go. Have fun and ejoy!PEANUT BUTTER/CHOCOLATE COOKIE MIX IN A JAR 3/4 cupReese's Peanut Butter Bites 1 cup honey flavored Teddy Grahams crackers 1 cup mini marshmallows 3/4 cup milk chocolate chips 3/4 cup peanut butter chips Putthe milk chocolate chips and peanut butter chips together into a ziplock sandwich bag. Layer ingredients in order given in a 1 quart wide mouth canning jar. It is important that you use a wide mouth jar. Press each layer firmly in place. You must push in firmly to get everything in the jar. Push the bag of chips firmly into the top of the jar. Decorate the jar and dont forget to add the recipe with these instructions: NO BAKE PEANUT BUTTER/CHOCOLATE COOKIES Remove bag of chocolate chips from jar. Empty this bag into a LARGE microwave safe dish. Add 1-1/2 tsp. oil to chocolate chips and stir to mix. Microwave for 1 minute. Stir until chocolate is nearly melted. Microwave 30 seconds more. Stir until melted. Add remaining jar ingredients to melted chocolate. Stir until all ingredients are evenly coated with chocolate. Drop mixture by tablespoons onto sprayed baking sheet. Or line the cookie sheet with wax paper. Chill 30 minutes until set. Once they are set, there is no need to store in refrigerator. Makes 24-30.

Wow! These sound great! They also sound like an idea that I will save for Christmas! Thanks for this one, I'd never seen it before, but it's going in my collection today!

That sounds like a nice gift idea but I think I will kep this one for myself.lol. I do have a question though... What are Reeses Peanut Butter Bites? Is it just peanut butter cups broken up or is it sold that way? Oh and do you crush the teddy grahams? Sorry, I have never heard of this one before and I want to make sure I do it right. thanks.

Hven't had no bake cookies since highschool, will have to gather these ingredients and have some. Daughter really likes peanut butter and chocolate Thank you for sharing this one and now off to add it to the notepad. Burning up the wires today lol.

Yes this would be perfect for a kitchen shower. Thanks of the wonderful idea. I could see putting some of these mixes in our holiday trailer. It would be much easier to bake cookies already mixed and ready to go.
