Can't afford to purchase a new dishwasher to match your appliances?

Here's a tip I never knew.
MOST dishwashers have a panel on the front that when flipped over from the current "white" color, becomes black!
Manufacturers don't bother to tell people this because well, if you're making new purchases of black appliances they're hoping you come out and buy a new "black" matching dishwasher! Now you can safe lots of money by simply unscrewing the front facets and flipping over the panel on the door!
Amazing eh?

How did you know it already smarty pants? LOL Did they tell you this when you bought it or did you just discover it? Just curious!
And go ahead... change it and tells us how long it takes him to notice! LOL

Many years ago, I had a GE dishwasher. It came with three panels. So that meant I had six colors to work with. It was one of the features I really liked about it. I had options and I really like options. I only had to open one side and slide the panels out. So when you open yours, don't be surprised if you find more than one panel to work with.

Oh how kewl! I never even knew they HAD panels! LOL I just assumed they were made one way and that was it.

That is a bit of amazing information I never knew about before reading this post! We just bought a new dishwasher and now I want to go unscrew the front to find out if it is a different color on the inside. How in the world did you find out about this?

I saw it on a home redecorating show. The guy says "Well, we replaced your appliances but the dishwasher doesn't match the new, sleek black ones we bought. Here's a little secret manufacturers don't tell you." He flipped it over and voila, looked like a completely different dishwasher! I was amazed!
