Is it wrong 4 child to masterbate

Many parents teach children that it is wrong to masturbate, Why? It is a natural healthy thing for them to do. Will you admit to doing it, come on lets be truthful. I feel allot of children think it is a bad thing to do. They feel ashamed and that they are doing something others don't. Girls and Boys both masturbate so basically everyone is doing it. If we as parents would promote this, we wouldn't have so many teenagers getting pregnant because of their sexual drive needing relief . What do you think?
