Why do people have negative answers when someone is seeking out advice or help?

I've been reading a lot of questions and answers and i must say that some people are rude when someone ask a general question. Why do people feel that they need to answer questions? Why the attitude, why be rude? I don't understand it. Now people ask some silly questions and stuff but that's beside the point. If you are going to be mean and rude, why even bother?

I think they have nothing better to do. In all honestly, there are always going to be some people that are negative people in the world. I try to ignore them and move on. There are so many other postive people that those don't matter... to me...

I have also seen some of these and I think that it is just that persons nature.I really don't think they are really trying to be rude an if they are maybe the discussion upset them and that is just there way of responding to that perticular discussion, we all have to remember not all people think and feel the same and there are going to be conflicts of interests. it is just unavoidable and why do they answer cause they have the right too , just as we have the right to answer someones we don't particularly agree with.

i got your point, ya i know in reality its like that but the scene is the person is seeking an advice and help, rudeness is not the way to respond.

I agree as I don't understand why anyone would try to hurt someone they don't even know by being rude to them . I was always taught that if you didn't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all . And even if it is too short and you don't like the discussion then you don't have to take the time to respond to it . I believe some people are intentionally seeking to start something on here as they know that it will get some people up in arms when they make a comment .

we are in a real world, so expect that things to happen. people have the right to express their selves the way they want, but they should think first before do some action. respect others feelings, it's nice to have a good conversation which helping others than being rude. for me everything is a commonsense. cheers!

i met alot of such people around the net. for me it seems they are only satisfied, when they could give bad feelings to others. most of them seem they cant live without that. its sad, because i saw that when a person seriously needed help and support. i try to ignore them
