What’s your favorite spaghetti sauce?Do you start from scratch or do you use sauce from the jar or can?Do you make it with meat?My favorite is sautéed veggies, mushrooms, minced garlic, put on the pasta Add butter, then sprinkle fresh chopped parsley, chives, salt and pepper It’s very good. I LOVE pasta. We use a canned sauce because the roomie only makes a meat sauce & I don't eat meat in my spagetti because of my food allergies - when I eat meat - I want to eat MEAT, not as part of something else. I have to admit that the sauce I learned to cook can be made meat free, but it isn't the same without the bell peppers & I can't eat those either.

i like the sauce to be a little bit of sour taste( just like in puttanesca). and i prefer the color of the sauce to be a little bit of brownish-red which means more liver is added.

My mother always did hers by scratch...and my sister does hers from the jar. I do a bit of both. I sautee about a couple heads of garlic and chop a large onion and sautee that in olive oil...if I have some extra time, I'll do some green, red, orange and yellow peppers as well. When that's done, I'll brown some meat...and dump in the store bought sauce. Now, for that I'll use 1: Paul Newman's or 2: Prego. I LOVE Paul's sauces because of the funny stories on the back of the labels as well of the fact he donates all his money from the sales to charity. I love Prego because of the balanced taste.

sauce prepared by yourself is better than sauce bought to supermarket, onion, tomatoes, salt, oil, and some others spice are the right ingredients.

I tend to use sauce from a jar. I don't really have a favorite yet because we like to experiment and try different ones everytime we cook apaghetti. I also have to admit, spaghetti is one of my least favorite meals. My husband loves it, so I am forced to cook it on occasion.

There are lots of ready made spaghetti sauce that all you do is to heat it. I buy the one with mushrooms and sautee it with fresh tomatoes and basil and add some cheese too. My favorite herb is basil that is why when I make a spaghetti sauce there must be a strong basil taste in it.

I like to use jar spaghetti sauce but I jazz it up.Here are just a few ways.Take a jar of alfredo sauce add about a cup an half frozen vegetablesand orange zestof one lemon. Heat. Or how about taking a jar of marinara sauce ; 1/2 lb cooked, andouille sausage; and 8 thawed, frozen meatballs. Heat.

My favourite sauce, italian tomatoes, oil, salt, onion, and some other spice, it's the more simple but the best you can eat.
