pitbull ban in Ontario, Canada

Canada

I live in Ontario, Canada and I have to voice my opinion on the Pitbull ban that came into affect a year or two ago. I hate it! I think it is ridiculus that we as a society only look at the surface of everything! No one even stopped for one minute to say hey it is not the dogs fault! maybe it is the environment that they are raised in.

I agree with you my son is big on pitbulls he has two of them. He and a friend is working on starting a rescue home for pits and I am working on a website for him. Pits are only bad when they are raised by mean people and the it is the dog that gets the wrong end of the deal. I say save the pitbulls.

Finally a person who has actually looked at all sides, and HAS ACTUALLY LIVED WITH THE BREED!!! I hate it when people comment on something they know nothing about or in this case have never owned or raised a pitbull, and don't understand how loyal this breed is to its owner. let me know your website link once it is up and running and I will put a link on my blog:)

I think it has been shown over and over that Pit Bulls are more dangerous than other dogs, no matter what environment they are raised in. Every few months in the United States, we hear of another vicious attack by a Pit Bull on some little child, ripping the child face, or nose and ears completely off. The owner always says something like, "Gosh, I don't know how he got out." To me, if there is any chance that a particular breed of dog is likely to be dangerous around children, that breed should be weeded out. I don't necessarily advocate killing all Pit Bulls, but I don't think it would be a bad idea to neuter them so that the Breed would eventually die out.
