Just thought I would share this tip with a few of you parents out there. My son has really bad allergies, we did the whole medicine thing for a while, but it realy seemed like too much. One day I talked to a friend who told me about shampooing her caprpet, and I tried it. It helps get the allergies of a child down! No matter how clean you think your carpet is, it has a lot of dirt and stuff trapped in it, spending that extra cash for the machine has paid off, we got to save money on all the allergy meds! If you have allergies or you have a child with them, I highly recommend you purchasing a carpet cleaning machine, it really helps!

This is a wonderful suggestion - thanks for sharing. I have known people who have had to remove all the carpet in their homes because of their children's allergies. It's great that you can control them with the shampooer and still keep your carpet.

a good vaccuum is also essential.. I recomend a rainbow. They are expensive but you can tell just how clean or dirty your carpet is, The vaccuum sit over a water bowel. The water hold all the dirt. I have vaccuumed as mush as 10 time to make sure I get all the dirt befoe usung a carpet shampooer.

I have allergies but I don't have any problems with them since I moved in with my boyfriend. His house is all hardwood floors and I think that this has helped me with my problems.
