harassment of men by women!

Look at the status of girls in cities and especially those who study in elite schools. They drink, smoke, go to clubs freely; it is not considered an offense even by cultured families but they call it “women have become self confident”. But nowadays, the trend has been such that if a boy of the same rank does the same thing he will be a ‘bad boy’ or uncivilized (not a gentleman) and who actually should be punished (if he is not punished it is because of the discrimination against women by men). Look at the ragging scenario. Senior girls rag junior boys mercilessly. They ask to remove shirts and banyans and stare and laugh. They sometimes even ask to remove the zip of trousers. Imagine what a torture a junior boy will undergo under that condition. This does not refer to a particular school but is an omnipresent fact. But nobody dares to talk about it; people in responsible positions and law makers may not know it; boys remain quiet. But if any single boy at any place of the world does like that to a girl at any time, it will be publicized and told again and again in every newspaper, media throughout the world. Needless to explain the plight of the boy afterwards. He will be tortured to the hell. But again this torture will not be publicized; people in higher positions will not know it or pretend not to know it. And the women’s group will again shout that he has not got sufficient punishment and they will tell that it is again a discrimination against women and they demand new and new laws to punish men. This will lead to more torture (physical and mental) and surprisingly more silence from men’s side and from the victim’s side due to lack of awareness (or no awareness) or lack of voice (no voice).

It seems that women have tried so hard to "rise up" that they have tipped the scales to the other extreme, and there is a new double tandard. What needs to be recognized is that both genders are HUMAN, and no human should treat another human in such a horrible way.

Thank you for posting this topic. I thought no one would ever understand. On one episode of Roseanne, D.J. had a "tomboy" girlfriend who barked out his orders. Dan didn't like it, but Roseanne's response was, "When a man pushes a woman around, that's taking a step backwards. But women pushing men around; not that's the future!" Since joining myLot, I have started only one discussion of my own. The discussion is about men who have been stalked by women. No one has ever responded to it, and I doubt anyone ever will. But it does happen, and it's not as flattering as a woman might expect it to be for us.

Yes i agree with you. This is a common scenario in today's world and something should be done to stop this. No doubt women are getting torutures by men but this is also true that men are also getting tortured by the women.

The reason the men do not report it is because of their pride. How could they let a female do this? Other men will not understand. I agree with you this is one sided. The women can do what they want and it is considered showing their independence where if a man does this katy bar the door. The women are up and screaming for his nails to be torn off his fingers. There is something wrong with this picture. Women are hollaring equality but they don't want equality for everything. If they want equality it should be straight across the board. Everything should be equal.

i agree with you on this topic. there are lots of men who harassed by women but there is noone to hear them. ironically our law and policymakers find fault in them and prove them guilty and put them behind the bars.

it happens everywhere.. the war between sexes will (in my oppinion) never end. There are lots of things to be said and done about this subject... not that i mind being harrased by a woman though :).
