how does your personal blog help you? or what does it serve you?

I don't know that it helps me so much as it just gives me something to do. I would like to build a large reader base at some point, but what with college and all, I don't have much time to devote to it, so for now, it's just a collection of randomly updated thoughts and rants.

Well my blog is more a political one, I don't really post much that is overly personal, but it helps me to voice my opinion.

Create a blog to: 1. Document a chronology of interesting and memorable events happening to you or to person close to you. 2. Create a blog to sharpen your writing skills. 3. Create a blog on topics are you are good at and make money out of it. So which category are you in ?

well blogging is good for information,news, making money online its easy to do as well as you dont have to write much and can add photos and videos. i like doing different blogs and always refer back to them its kind of like my online scrapbooks and notes but i am doing some paid posts aswell. but i can refer to my blogs for information ive found online aswell and links to useful sites heres a couple of my blog links http://www.blogchex.com/urbancityrew and http://cybercoolsnews.blogspot.com (thats my new one)

For me, my blog helps me clear-up my mind from some thoughts that's bugging me. that's where I post things, items and photos that has been significant to me throughout the day or week. It also helps me improve my webdesign and html/php coding skills.
