yes INDIA is agreat country with such high growth rate of 9% but still one must learn to work from bottom. the desire of the poor can only be fulfilled when he gets bread & not by showing that our country is progressing.

The govt cant do it all alone.we the people of India too have to think about it nd do wht eva we can.Blaming the govt for everything is just cleaning the dirt away from urself.A country's progress is seen by its overall progress ..

India is not just considered, but is actually a country of culture and rich heritage. I am proud to be an Indian, not for the government policies or anything, but, just the fact that I am one and I am not the only one to feel that way. There are many negatives too, but, that is more to do with the people and not the country.

1975 was when I visited India. I went to Madras and I must say that it is one of the most interesting places I have visited. The contrast between a modern city and traditional culture, plus some very poor people and some very wealth people all added to the experience. The mild curry I bought from a street vendor was the hottest I have ever had. The people were warm and friendly. I will visit more of India again one day. I also have come across many Indian people through work and socially and all seem to be freindly, well mannered and usually pretty clever. To see how the Indiam subcontinent is progressing is great. We all hear about China in the news but India is probably progressing as fast and it too is a huge country with great potential. India and China are very likey to be the largest economic power houses of the 21st century.
