Do you have real lifelong friends?

There are a few friends who I really consider to be life long friends.
By this I mean, people who I haven't seen or spoken to in a long while but I know that if I saw them again tomorrow, it would be like it was only yesterday since we last spoke and things would be exactly as they were when we last saw eacyh other.
I have one friend who I havent seen now for about 7 years but we always remember each others birthdays and make an effort to call each other. We don't live anywhere close to each other anymore so actually meeting up again is quite difficult but I know if we could, it would be like we'd never been apart.
Do you have friends in your life like that? Whats the longest time you have been apart before meeting up again?

Actually, to tell you the truth, my husband is my best friend. He is the only one I can talk to and tell him my deepest secrets and thoughts. I have other friends too, but I wouldn't say they are lifelong friends.

I have quite a few friends I have had most of my life.I am still friends with my first friend,we met when we were 4 and neighbors.We usually talk once a yr. yet.(at least) Most of my friends I have had since I was 13-15. So that is at least 34 years. I am even friends with all my ex boyfriends.(only one ex husband-not really a friend but we are friendly since we have a kid)
