Do you ever buy the scratch off lottery tickets?

We don't buy these very often as they seem like more of a waste of money then anything as we rarely ever win when we do get them . The most we have ever won on any that we have ever got was fifty dollars and that was on one of the crossword one's that we have in our area . They are fun to get and once in awhile we will splurge and get a couple but I have never heard of anyone that I knew that every won more then the hundrend dollars on them even thought they say you can win more then that off them .

I buy them once in a while, but not that often. I used to buy 5 or 10 every payday and I won $500 once..but that was about 12 years ago LOL My dad likes to buy them so i'll usually buy him 10 as part of his birthday present or for his Christmas stocking..but sometimes I buy him regular lottery tickets if the jackpot is pretty high. I don't mind gambling, but I don't like to throw my money away and I rarely ever even win the money back I spent on the tickets, so I don't bother anymore. : O))
