I disappear from mylot for a week and my rating goes UP?

No I can't explain hehe but I guess you wouldn't be smiling if the star goes down, or would you think it's normal? I never pay much attention to stars anymore. My rating went down 92/100 to 91/100 a few times several days now, but that's no biggie. If someone rates me negative what can I do right? if positive well thanks a lot, that's all I can say

Oh my star has gone up and down - the highest has been a 9 and the lowest a 7, but I've been mostly an 8. I think I would stop smiling if I reached a 5 - anything higher is okay by me ;-)

if you started to post a discussion or response, anyone in mylot can rate you based on your response... 83, 161 mylot users can read your response and rate it... so even if you didnt post for a week, your rating will still increase...

Oh heck, go figure..it's mylot.. There are more mysteries on mylot than in the holy bible...lol Maybe they thought you were being a good girl for a change and they rewarded you...hehe Whatever it is I may have to take a little vacation and try it..lol
Whatever happened at least it was a good thing... that would have been really lousy if you came back and it was lower....yikes.

That's funny - I don't seem to get many repsonses to my posts. Hey, I am not complaining but I thought maybe it's a sign I should keep my mouth shut more often - or is it a cse of absence making the heart gwo fonder? LOL

this reputation didnot reflect how active you are!this is what i understood from mylot guidelines.
star represent your reputation.users with a user rating of less than 100 will not yet have myLot reputation
myLot reputation is determined by the myLot community,not user.but it depend on + and - given to a user by other members!
It doesn’t mean that 8 stars means “good user” and 5 stars means “bad user” only indicate how much qulaity they provide with their discussion!
increase your reputation is by contributing quality topics, responses and comments and avoid breaking mylot rules!

LOL this only means one thing and that is that people have really posted horrible things while u r away and hence they found you better then the most so u r pushed up the ladder simple LOL any ways welcome back to mylot and do not stay away like this next time u take a vacation and who knows u might become numero UNO on mylot LOL cheers

The #2 respondent is correct. People can still rate and read your posts even when you are gone. And, there's a lot of new people joining every day. So, a lot of new people might have found your posts and rated them positive.
