teething problems help!!!!

oh my baby is starting to have teeth.
he has two on his front and the other is starting to show up.
i have a problem with him because he always cry and cannot suck his milk because he got an aching gums!
i bought him a teether to lessen the pain by putting it on the refrigerator to make it cool a bit!!!!
am i right doing that?
do you have any teething tips for me?

Poor baby. Give him a kiss for me.
Take a clean wash cloth and pour some water on it and store that in the fridge. Before you give it to him, wring it out and he'll be sucking on that in no time. My baby LOVES chewing on things like that.
My former MIL would take a huge piece of flat jerky and give that to the baby. It's meat and babies would prefer the taste of meat and food than to nasty plastic anyways.
Another, is give him a cleaned off (clean off the ligaments and any sharp edges) of a cooked chicken bone and give that. However, that wasn't a more popular option, but it was a hit with the people's children at my church.

Oh, here's another good tip. How could I have forgotten? DUH!
When Little Man was teething last summer, we bought him popsicles GALORE!!! He would go through a box of those frozen treats about one every three days. Also, if you're on the road or he's wearin something nice, buy some of those Otter Pops and freeze them. He'll just think they're bright and colourful looking and it will have no mess. Then, when it's melted a tad, it will be all nice and squishy...room for some more good times!
