I will allow my teenage daughters to date, I don't think that there is anything you can do to stop them. If they don't do it with your consent, they will just do it behind your back and lie about it which is even worse. I think that these days girls mature faster than I did when I was growing up and my girls are quite confident and I wasn't so I do expect them to want to date boys more than I did, and I am prepared for that. I will have to make sure I can provide them with contraception so that they don't get into trouble.

It depends largely on the maturity of the young lady and her choice of who to date. Make a point to meet the young man. Set down rules and inform both of them. You could also allow dating with adult chaperone attending. Keep the lines of communication wide open with your daughter and let her know that at any time she becomes uncomfortable that she is allowed to call home and ask to be picked up without any prying questions. Give her an escape route directly to your arms.

Teenagers have a new shape these days .They are abotu 20 pounds heavier than they were 60 years ago .They are about four inches taller .too. These facts come from professor .tanner who has been measuring people from all over the world and has also studied people growth records of the past 100 years
