ATWT.....Casey leaves

It should come as no surprise after months of speculation that Zach Roerig (Casey Hughes) will exit ATWT. Roerig will not renew his contract when it expires in April, and a P&G rep adds, "we will be seeing Casey until May." Another hint that the actor was preparing for departure was Roerig's exclusion from ATWT's location shoot in Branson, MO, later this summer, where nearly all of his teen co-stars will be heading. Best of luck to him in future endeavors. No word yet if ATWT is planning to recast the role.

Man! The revolving door on this show is incredible. I hate to see him leave just because I hate seeing storylines change so drastically. If they don't recast the role, what happens to Maddie? They have just professed their love for each other and expect to be making love next week (or is it today?) Funny how they picked up this new guy that won their online audition contest but they won't renew Roerig's contract (unless of course itw as Roerig's decision). Go figure. We will surely see him on upcoming episodes of Law & Order and CSI.
