I was in the mall today with my grandkids and it was dinner time, so i boutght them french fries with cheese, bacon, chili vegies and sour cream on it. some woman saw me feeding my baby grand daughter and started telling me that in her eyesI was unfit to be raising children because I didn't feed her enough meat and vegies. The baby had already had enough protein, and had had tomatoes, green peppers and onions in an omelette for lunch. Why do some people think thatjust because dinner is ot that healthy, that the rest of the day's meals haven't been? you should have seen her freak when i gave the kids pop and chocolate cookies for dessert! Nosey self rightious bi itch!

You could tell by the way she was dressed that she either didn't have kids or had a nanny. I really pity any kids she might have had

Don't you just love how other people feel they have the right to comment on your family and how you are taking care of them? How would she know oif this was a snack or dinner, and why is it her business anyway? I am glad to see that she did not rattle you. And I am glad you made sure she noticed the dessert. :D

I hope you told her to sod off. I have seen people feeding their kids in the mall junk - heck - when I go to the mall, if I eat anything, its probably junk too - I hate shopping so a mall trip is an ordeal that I try to make up for by indulging myself a bit. Now, because of my allergies, it sure isn't fries with stuff on them, but I'll get one of those pretzels or some ice cream or one of those, less than healthy, smoothies. Back when they had an Orange Julius at the mall I'd get one of those - just because they were yummy - sans egg of course. I almost always hit the candy store too, I have to have SOME reason to make up for inflicting myself with the mall.

I hate those people. I once had a person tell me how I should be ashamed of myself for feeding my son a happy meal and that I am poisoning him and that someone should take my kids from me for it. All I could say was get the F away from me you F ing freak. Who do these people think they are because they see us for one moment in our lives with our kids treating them to something good to them while maybe not so much for them. I wonder what she would have said the night before when my son sat at the table for an hour and a half because he refused to eat his veggies.

Normally when someone decides to give me their unwanted opinion I say "Thank you , now could you please explain to me what made you think that I wanted your advice so that I might not do it again?" For the most part I find that its the older crowd who does this but I can't help butassume that I am not the only one that they have done this to. I am hoping that my comment will make them stop and realize that now everyone wants to hear their comments.

What a silly woman! I agree that she should have minded her own business. I surely don't think you did anything wrong.
