Lead Singer Leaving? Yes or No?

A friend of mine told me yesterday that he heard the lead singer of Rascal Flatts may be leaving the group to go out on his own. My friend and I both agree that this does not seem right. They are such a good group with tons of awesome songs. It just doesn't make any sense for this to take place. The group is far from struggling. Has anyone else heard this rumor? If so, is it true? I am hoping it is not, because they are one of my favorite groups.

I have not heard about the lead singer of Rascal Flatts leaving this is the first I have heard of it I hope its not true

I can't say for 100%, but I am going to say NO!!! They have a new cd (Unstoppable) coming out on April 7th and I can't see them doing that only to split up. It sounds to be amazing and I have only heard one song from it so far (you can check it out at newrfcd.com and its called Here Comes Goodbye. They are one of my favorite groups too and I don't think that I could handle them splitting up.

I haven't heard this. It is common though that members try to stike out on their own. It will be interesting to see what happens --if he makes it solo and also what happens to the band.

NNNOOOOO!!!!! It would break my heart, and the hearts of just about every woman in America! lol.
Seriously, they have such great music, it would be a shame to have them split. And without Joe Don...they are just not Rascal Flatts. His voice is so distinct.

They announced last night on the CMT awards that they were in the studio recording a new project, and that they would be going out on the road again in July for another tour and to promote the new music.
Nothing said about him leaving. I can't imagine them putting out another record if he were.

I don't think this is true based on the information on the web site. They are on tour right now. One concert was canceled, as one of the singers was ill, but that is understandable.

I can not imagine this happeneing. They seem to have a great relationship and they must know that they are strongest together. I dont think this is true, at least I hope its only a rumor.
