What are your views on conspiracy theories in general? Do you believe any of them? Personally I find it very hard to believe when I hear some crazy guy talking about some very "amazing" things. :-) What theories do you know of?

It all depends on where the source of the theory is coming from. Anything written by David Icke I view as a credible unbiased source. I've read some of his books and and the things he says makes things that have happened in this world make a lot more sense. He gives a lot of evidence for the things he says and lists all of his sources. I recommend his book Children of the Matrix. It's a good book to read if you haven't read anything by him before. It gives a more general sense of what's going on. Some of his other books go into a lot more detail. www.davidicke.com

One conspiracy I know specifics about involves the crashing of one of the Mars space probes. My father used to work for the company that designed it. There were two teams working on the project. For some reason one team was using standard measurements and the other team was using metric. There were errors when converting the measurements and my father was trying to inform his superiors of the errors so they could be fixed before the launch. They ignored him and left things as they were. So I've no doubt in my mind that they wanted that probe to crash.

I have heard of this story too. It's just strange how bad organized something so bid like this could be.

This discussion reminds me of the movie Conspiracy Theory were Mel Gibson do a great acting job. I also like to hear this theories but sometimes I get scared just to think that some of them cam be true. Like the one about September eleven that says that the whole thing was planed by Americans in order to improve their defense system. There are a lot of sites explaining with details the whole theory. It’s just too scary.

Yes it's scary but there's a lot of truth to it. There's a book by David Icke called Alice in Wonderland and the World Trade Center Disaster that tells all about this. The whole 9/11 thing was set up in order to take people's freedoms away by setting up higher security measures. I mean think about it, would people put up with extra security if a disaster like 9/11 didn't happen?
