what is the best aprils fool joke you have puled or has been pulled on you?

wehen we first move into our home, there was a durt road in the back. I tols my friends that the state was taking over the road and we had to give up our new home. They were angry. Than I said "April Fools!"

We have a standing joke at work not to call in sick or take vacation or you will be volunteered for something. We have one employee who has several legitimate family issues that cause him to miss a lot of work. Last year, as we were preparing to move to a new building, he had to take several days of leave unexpectedly. While he was out, we had to choose our new offices. With the boss's cooperation, we showed his office on the blueprints as being upstairs with a different department, one we knew he didn't want to be in. When he returned, our boss was in an all day meeting, so we brought him up to date on what he had missed, his cases we had worked on etc. But no one said a word about the new blueprints hanging up. Finally he started asking questions, but any time he would say, why is my office up here, we would all get silent and then I would say, "We really can't discuss that, you need to ask the boss." For about an hour we had him convinced he had been transferred. Fortunately, we have a great department and are always teasing each other. He took the joke in stride, still laughs about it, and of course has gotten even by playing his own jokes on the rest of us.
