I frequently get lost in books, sometimes staying up all night because I can't put a book down. A good book is better than a good movie I think. It's more satisfying and the escape is better.

I only get caught up in a book when I get to the final chapters. I find I just can't put it down and then I find I'm up half the night because I really want to find out how it ends... and well, just so many pages to go, might as well not stop now. I wish I could find time to sit and read for three hours!

Yeah I do this a lot. I've on occasion finished a book in one sitting and realized I have nothing to read now. As for getting my attention no people don't usually have to yell at me. I'm blessed with being able to pay attention to more than one thing at once. At least as far as reading one thing and listening to something else. ;)
