Now if you have the extra cash to spend, you definetly should take a trip to kaeiteur falls the largest single drop waterfall fed by a river.Kaeiteur has a beatutifull walk in the national park. It will show you some wildlife in the rainforest like the golden frog, if you are lucky like I was you can see the peacock of the rock. Ofcourse the abundant plant life in the jungle is explained by the park rangers. This can be done either overland in a 3 day busride - hike or by airplane. If you go by plane just for a little extra they can bring you at the Brazilean border to Orinduk. An Amerindean village with a stunning table top mountain. It is an ideal picknick place as well as a refreshing shower sitting in the waterfall. If you want to top it of on your way back you could spend some time in the Baganara resort a nice hotel on in Island in the Essequibo river. Relaxing and a nice place to swim. For a nice day out of Georgetown I visited on of the creeck's on the Linden Highway. You have the fancy Splashmin a real tourist attraction. But the smaller ones or definetly cheaper and you have some nice interaction with the local population. You can travel there with minibus starting from Stabroek Market. Anyway enyou Guyana and let me know how you found it.

Those places all sound wonderful. I am going to have to check and see what a trip there would cost me. Thanks for telling us about it.
