Alarm Clocks

Does anyone else out there not own an alarm clock? Ever since I can remember I have never used one to wake up in the morning. I know that most people do use one in order to not forget to wake up so not to be late for school or work, but I keep hearing that most people also keep hitting the snooze button and sometimes are late anyhow because of it. Tell me about your experiences with or without alarm clocks.

We don't use alarm clocks anymore. We use our cellular phones as alarm clocks and we put on the most annoying music to be played and we put out cellphones on the opposite side of the room so that we will be forced to wake up and turn it off, getting out of the bed in the process. I guess this is a way of disciplining ourselves. =)

I use the alarm on my cell, also an alarm clock and if it's a very important appointment I ask somone who gets up early to call me. I am a night owl, I love working nights and hate getting up early in the mornings. I am not a morning person at all!

I am also not used to , to use an alarm clock to get up! ut if needed now a days I am using my mobile phone as an Alarm clock! I work for a stud farm as a resident Vet, which makes me to work on the farm at any time of the day may it then be day or night! I need to attend the case when ever the situation arises ! So I am generally called up or awakened by my night watchmen, in case if I sleep and I also ask them to wake me up in case I need to attend a particular case at a particular time! This works out best for me1 Same way if I need to go anywhere I normally depend upon these people! But with the mobile phones having the faciility of Alarm clock some times, I am using them as Alarm clocks!

I have learned to be dependent on alarm clocks, even if my body has already adjusted for me to wake up at a specific time. I would many times beat my alarm clock in terms of waking up! I would either use the electronic kind or the alarm clock from my cellphone. I never push the "snooze" button. I just turn it off, then would normally sleep for 30 minutes more (that's why the time I would set my alarm clock would be 30 minutes ahead of desired time). I would always wake up 30 minutes after I have turned off the alarm! I think I can survive without the alarm clock, but better be sure than sorry. I don't want to be late for work. Happy myLotting!

My son is my alarm clock! He wakes up pretty early every morning, although today he slept in for some weird reason, but I was awake anyway since I am now used to him getting me up around 5 am! My husband uses his cel phone as an alarm clock, but he never gets up to it. It goes off, he hits snooze, it goes off, he hits snooze, etc. This can go on for up to an HOUR! I usually get mad and turn his phone off before then and then tell him ten minutes before he has to go to work, so he will actually get up and get going!

Unfortunately, I think that a lot of people do hit the snooze button-a sign that we're not getting enough rest. I have found that when I get enough rest, my body wakes up without the help from an alarm clock. I'm wide awake with the sunrise. When I get run down or push too hard, I am guilty of hitting the snooze button too.

I don't really own an alarm clock but I use my mom as an alarm clock. LOL. We need to get up at the same time to report for work and she's always the one who woke me up. I also use my cell phone as an alarm clock to wake me up coz honestly, I relied on my own body clock, I would have been fired from work years ago as I am not really that good at waking up early.

Oh, that sounds like me, hitting the snooze button. I have my alarm clock set for 7:00, though I hit the snooze button three, maybe four, times and am, as you say, late. Sometimes I don't know why I bother. And now, what's worse, I'm beginning to ignore the sound of it when it goes off.

I can't imagine without the alarm clock, what will happen to me.This morning,my alarm clock rings at 7:30am,but I am so sleepy that I sleep again, and never heard it ringing, when I open my eyes and see the clock,it's already 8:30,and my work time is begin from 9am,so I am late today.I have to find another way to wake me up again.

Most of my life, I depend on alarm clock. I'm such a deep sleeper and often times, I won't be able to hear it. The alarm would wake up my hubby, thus, he would wake me up, too. It's usually like that even when I worked abroad. My roommates would wake up instead. I always struggle everyday to wake up and I always feel tired to get up. I just like to sleep especially I wake up every 3am since my work starts at 4am.

Hi! I dont and have never owned an alarm clock. What does it look like? Hehehe. Just kidding. Seriously I dont have and have never owned an alarm clock. My body clock always wakes me up at the same time everyday, more or less. Unless of course, if I stay up very late til almost dawn. Then I will really wake up late. If I do have an appointment the following day, I would ask someone who uses an alarm clock to wake me up! I really find it annoying to be awakened by an alarm clock. I'd rather be nudged and shaken or splashed with water. :). Good day and happy posting!

I used to an alarm clock but sometimes i still sleep back after i hit the snooze button becasue i just let go my sweet bed. this make me late for class sometimes. So now, i have 3 alarm clock in my room, i set the alarm for each clock at the different time and put it away from my bed so that i can't easily hit the snooze button and this can help to wake up and walk toward the clock in order to turn off the alarm. Sometimes, i really hate the alarm sound. 'rang.rang, rang' wake up buddy, you have a lof of mess waiting for you to do.
