EverQuest April Fools

Does anyone play EverQuest?
If so how did you like your surprise?
My wife plays it and when she logged in she got a message saying that they had installed a new patch updated and improving all of the toons.
When she finally got the game open, all of the players were Red Stick People!
She has been in a bad mood all day now because she is trying to play this game and the stick people are very distracting, not to mention stupid looking.
I've been giving her a hard time about it and she is not amused.
So, how is your Quest going today?

LMAO, thats pretty lame. Do you know if anyone has any pictures of the stick figures?? My account isnt active currently however I am curious how the prank looks lol.

I had her take a screenshot.
As soon as I have enough posts to add pictures I will put one in.
It is funny, and she is still mad. They have been stuck that way all day.

well as you know i got her hooked in the ol everquest...i thought it was a pretty funny joke they did for the april fools joke that day and was rather original. i thought it was neat for the day but it was fun to have them back to normal after a while. I will post a picture of it here in a few to show you guys what it looks like i have a few screenshots i took of it.

As far as it does not become a pain it is ok. A friend of mine almost got in to a big trouble. His wife is RN and works on night shifts. Yesterday night she called from the hospital saying she is not feeling well and she would be coming back. The route from hospital to their house is hardly takes 10 minutes. When she did not reach home even after 45 minutes Garry got worried as it was 2.30 in the morning and did not know what to do(Unfortunately e did not have his car yesterday with him) finally called up the hospital. A co worker said she had left almost 30 minutes back. This made Garry really upset and he decided to cal his friends for a ride. I went there and both of us decided to call 911 to find out whether there is any information on a accident. There was no accident involving a lady driver. Then we decided to go to the local sheriffs. Just then luckily Catherine, his wife called up saying it was an "April Fool". Garry was so furious and I am sure they must have fought next day!! I hate htis.

That's funny! I played for almost five years, I and II combined, but have since moved on. I must say, though, that nothing compares to the Shadow Knight of EverQuest I.
