I just love his writings! He doesn't ramble on for pages and pages! It is very straight to the point. So what is the last one you read and how did you like it.

I think it was "When the Wind Blows" and I have it's sequel "The Lake House" but I haven't started it yet because I am reading John Sandfords "Broken Prey". His "Prey" series is awesome. I shuffle between those two and Dean Koontz. If you haven't read "Wind Blows" yet, then may I say "please do". It was great, with a great ending. Very climactic.

I agree. Some of Koontz's books drag on & on, but in the end, he hasn't had too many that I don't want to read again.

I read When the Wind Blows! AWESOME! I also have quite a few Dean Koontz, but he really does add too much to a story and it is pages and pages and pages before he gets to the point. That is why I like James Patterson so much, he keeps you there the whole way through the book. Very fast readings! It sounds like I need to check out John Sanford too. Thank you for your response!

I can't remember the name of the last one I read...I think it might have been Kiss the Girls. I thought it was great, and I would like to see the movie now (haven't seen either of the Cross movies) I like his Alex Cross books, but I've read the first one Women's Murder Club series and while it was a good story...I don't think he's very good at writing from a female perspective. It was kinda lame and cheesy.

The womens murder club is kind of strange and off the path, but still are worth the read. I have Along came a spider on DVD but not the other one. Kiss the Girls was a great book also! Thanks for your response.

I'm a bit behind on my reading of his books. The last one I read was "Big Bad Wolf". It was very good. I enjoyed the twists in it. I haven't read that many of his books but the ones I have I've enjoyed. I really need to pick up some more of them. I love the Alex Cross ones the best. Those just seem to draw me in and I have to finish it right away.

I just read two of his books in a row. The first one was 'You've Been Warned', and the second was 'The Quickie'. Both were absolutly fabulous! Especially the way 'You've been Warned' ended!! I had a suspicion, but it still was a really great way to end it!

At this moment I am reading the Alex Cross series. I just finished "Pop Goes the Weasel" and now I am reading "Roses are Red". I also love how he gets straight to the point in his books. Especially with describing characters. Most authors spend a couple of paragraphs describing a character and thier background. Where James Patterson doesn't. He describes them in just a few sentences and moves on. There have been many times I have put a book down because I got bored reading about a characters looks and background.

Absolutely love the Alex Cross series! Right now, I'm about halfway through Double Cross. Has anyone read, and I can't remember the name of this one, the one about the vampires? That one really pulls you in! Actually, now that I think about it, I have to finish that one!
