squidoo vs hubpages

I was trying to figure out how Squidoo works and I started a discussion here on mylot. A friend answered and wrote also on a site called Hubpages. It seems that they are similar. Now I am wondering which one is better to join.
which one pays more? Which one do you prefer and why?

Nopes i havent heard about any in this much detail before even i have visited squidoo once but i thought its a search engine or something like that i didnt knew that its also a paying program where people can earn something,by the way i guess now that i do know a bit i'll rather say squidoo is much more popular than hubpages but dont know which one is best if it comes to choosing, cant you join both :D.

Guess I would be prejudice if I said Squidoo is the best. Since I love it so much.
It has a higher view rating than hubpages. Hence all our pages get higher rating and reviews.
No reason on earth you can't join both.
so now you have 2 women who agree with you LOL

I agree BrainTeaser. I think that Squidoo is more pupular because I read a lot of posts about it than hubpages.

I've made several Squidoo lenses and a couple of groups. I've briefly looked at hupbages but as yet I've not looked into it enough to actually start one - Squidoo seems so much easier :-) so I can't compare income for you.

The thing with Squdioo is that it's all laid out for you - you just have to fill in the content: choose what type of content you want: rss feeds, text, amazon etc etc. and fill it in. You don't need to know any html though you can use some if you want.

Thank you re08dz. You have a nice lens there! I have not started my lens yet but in my mind I remember that I had a discussion with you before to join a group. I have not forgotten, I knew that I had to look through discussions that I have answered and find your discussion. So once my lens in up and running I will join the group!

I'm new to myLot, but have been on Squidoo and HubPages for some time. The simple answer is I make more on HubPages, but think it relates to the quality of your pages/lenses and the traffic you can generate.
