An eccentric millionaire offers to donate a large sum to charity if you will walk down a busy street - completely naked - for four blocks. There is no danger of being arrested, or physical abuse, would you do it?

i would not do that, ever, i am not a virtuous virgin though. but i have inhibitions in opening up in public. charity is a strong word and even with all good intentions, i could have never done that. i feel, that charity should be silent and one should not advert his charitable dispositions. the case you have stated clearly has more implications, it's certainly not for charity alone. here, publicity shadows charity. what do ya feel ? however, i have no problem with ppl doing it, if it is genuinely for the sake of charity only. thanx for an offbeat post.

Considering the parameters you mentioned (no abuse, no arrest), I'd definitely do this. It might feel a little funny to be walking around naked, but it'd be worth it. Besides, I could show off my fairly new scar. Heck, it'd probably be a positive experience for my self-esteem. Think abuot it, at such an event there would probably be tons of people cheering me on. All those people cheering me walking around naked, how could I ever feel bad about my body again after that?

It would be amazing for self esteem. It's just a little sad that there are so many people that do feel bad about their bodies... but that's a whole new discussion!

It depends on the amount of money and what the charity is ... for stray llamas I would not do it but for kidney disease, cancer, dementia, and things like that definately I would do it. The other thing is the amount of money ... not for a few lousy dollars but for a couple of hundred thousand, definately. One thing is that eccentrics, millionaries or not, are just that and I would want to be sure the person paid the money over. So if I don't get arrested and not harassed or physically abused, the money is guaranteed and it is for a very good cause .... the answer would be yes. At my age nothing much can embarass me ... and my father has passed away and mother has dementia so they wouldn't be embarrassed either .... my kids have done enough to make me very embarassed over the years ... so now it would be my turn to do it to them.

I would love to do it for the charity, but honestly I don't think I could walk even one block naked. I would be to embarrassed to do it.

LMAO Script. No I don't think I could now. Gravity has played to big a part in shaping what was once a not so bad body! Now if you had asked me that question 15 20 years ago the answer might have been yes. I think I have gained more modesty in my older age then in my youth. And it really nothing to do as I said with the my body aging. Oh well not sure I can explain this one. I would just have to find some other way to be "charitable" LOL.
