Your ice cream already melts. Will you still eat it? Or will you just throw it away?

Ice cream is always nice to eat, irrespective of its state. But, to start with, it should be creamy and a bit hard. After you get into the flow and start enjoying it, it will start melting and you can savor the taste of the cream itself.

I prefer ice cream that has melted a bit... If I eat or drink anything very cold, my throat closes up and I start to wheeze. The only difference in taste between melted and frozen ice cream that I've ever discerned, is that the colder the ice cream, the less I can taste the flavor. (Guess my tastebuds freeze.) I would never throw away ice cream if it was melting... I paid for it, I'm gonna eat it d*mmit! :-P o

i love ice cream! i don't like it when it melts because it just tastes different. i just read here that you can just drink it like shake but i don't like my shake without some solid ice cream parts. oh and as transdisc said, if it's melted ice cream and hot, just no point in eating it anymore. i would probably put it back in the freezer but if there's no chance, i would just throw it.

Oh no, I really dislike melted ice cream. If I was outside, I'd just throw it away. I feel that ice cream just tastes different once it's melted. It's just not so satisfying and that's such a big pity. However, if I were at home, I'd just put it into the freezer. Once it freezes again, it'll be almost good as new, if one doesn't mind the ice crystals that have formed in between. I'll accept that, because it'll be such a waste to throw it away.

No cookout guest will ever look the other way when you break out these cool cookie sandwiches. Use vanilla or chocolate ice cream as a starting point, then get creative with the flavors. (Hint: We like coffee. And butter pecan. And...) Credit: Nestle Servings: 10 Ingredients: 1 (18-ounce) package Nestle Toll House Refrigerated Chocolate Chip Cookie Bar Dough or Walnut Chocolate Chip Cookie Bar Dough 1 pint vanilla or chocolate ice cream, softened Rainbow sprinkles Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Mini Morsels Directions: Prepare the cookies according to the package directions, then let them cool completely. Place a little less than 1/4 cup of ice cream on the flat side of 1 cookie; top with the flat side of a second cookie to make a sandwich. Decorate as desired. Serve the sandwiches immediately or wrap them tightly in plastic wrap and freeze.

I think when ice-cream melts it does seem to take on a slightly creamy flavour, I like it melted a bit much more.
