do you click on referral links in peoples post?

i have noticed that alot of people put refferal links to other sites in there discussions. they start a discusssion that seems like it is for one thing then when you open it it is for a link to another palce in there. i dont mind cause i am always looking for away to make a few pennies but i was wondering do other people click on them? i think yesterday alone i found like 8 links to clixsense i have been a member there for awhile myself but unless asked i dont put my referral in the post. what are your views on it?

The only links I post in discussions are informative pages, like if someone asks a question, and I find a website for it, I'll post it so they can read it, but I think it is against the rules to post about other paying sites on mylot.
