who will be saved in the end? christian or non-christian?

according to christian's bible, all those who believe in Christ and obey His commandments will be saved, one in which is "You shall not murder", but when it comes to Koran, the JIHAD (or the holy war), they kill people for they believe that through JIHAD, their religion can survive. In Islam, killing people through JIHAD is not a sin and they can be saved but in bible, to kill at any reason is a mortal sin and cant be saved... so from that, who will be saved in the end? christian or non-christian?

That interesting question is meant for only God to answer. No religion appears to be perfect, probably owing to gradual adulterations over the years. I strongly believe that we need another Prophet to be sent to us in our own time. Some of the old laws are too much out of tune with the reality of these days. God is merciful and understanding.

how can you know that God answers? if you are saying that no religion is perfect, then all religion are sham, which implies that all of us will not be saved in the end. if only God knows how we will be saved, and if only He cares for our salvation, why did He not give His laws that could last till the end, as what you have said, old laws are too much out of tune with the reality of these days. if your God is powerful, why didnt he predict that what He had set for His people could not last till the end?

Perfect or not perfect, no religion can save anybody. Only our deeds, physical or non-physical, will save us. God did not send down any religion to us here. He sent His message of dos and don'ts. That was what all the earlier Prophets were emphasising. It was only the so-called last prophet that claimed to have brought a religion from God. We should stop deceiving ourselves. God is constant and all-knowing. He couldn't have forgotten to hand down a religion to the earlier peoples only to remember the need for it at a later period. All religions are not from God; they all are artificial creations by man. That is why they are all imperfect and unable to stand the test of time.

Well in the end i'm sure we will know what the religion is correct. heck, maybe they are both wrong.. haven't you considered buddism?? i mean no body knows who is right on this issue. all we have to have is a strong faith in whatever we believe in..

I do believe that God is grater than our human mind. Jesus came fro all the people in the world, whether Christians or not. I do believe that Christianity is the way forward since it brings us closer to God. This does not mean that other religions do not manage to do so in some way or another. What fault does a person has if he or she were raised up in another religion?

the whole business of being saved is some what stupid. this very peculiar to semetic religions only. firstly, every man or woman is capable of saving himself or herself without jesus, allah or any other so called deities. i feel if any one remain rooted in these kinds of beliefs they every chance they will not only kill themselves but also turn out to be a grave threat to the whole humanity.

Im not a christian so I dont think thats how it goes. I dont believe in a hell but that we create our hells LOL. But if I were to look at it in a christian prespective I would say that anyone who lives life good will be saved b/c I know that God would not condemn me for living my life as a wonderful person but not praying or going to church. If that was how God was than i dont think I would want him as a God. LOL It does say in the bible though that when two or more are gathered in my name that is church. so we are having church right now. LOL. thanks
